I would like to thank all of our supporters. We ran a good campaign. We raised over $16,000 compared to almost $300,000 by our opponent. This house seat, like most seats in Florida is gerrymandered in favor of the Republicans. However we still walked away with a 66% turn out in our race with only about a 10% down ballot loss and 48% of the vote. We raised the bar, kept the issues always at front and center. We can be proud of the work we did. We live in a Blue County and in a Blue State. We accomplished a great deal, and we will continue to work for the causes we all believe in. I encourage those that visit this site to visit Fair Districts Florida http://www.fairdistrictsflorida.org/ sign the petition and help us work for true democracy so that we can continue the fight for one vote, one voice, and fair representation in Florida.
